Members code of conduct and terms and conditions of membership

1. Members who fail to comply with the high standards set out in the Code of Conduct or who bring The Wedding Professionals Network name into disrepute, will have their membership terminated. Membership is only open to companies or people who have been recommended by an existing Wedding Professionals Network Member.

2. As a member you will endeavor to provide the highest quality of workmanship and integrity in every aspect of the services you provide, with a professional manner, giving due regard to presentation and delivery of customer service.

3. You will be able to provide suitable documentation relative to the type of work and level of services that your business provides. As a member you will respect yours and other member's customer's confidentiality and where records are kept, should ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1984.

4. You agree not to pass on any data from the Wedding Professional Network to any non network members. Failure to comply with this will be deemed as a breach of Terms and Conditions and membership will be terminated.

5. You must have professional indemnity, public liability and employer's liability wherever appropriate.

6. In the unlikely event of a customer complaint, you will be obliged to co-operate with The Wedding Professionals Network committee to resolve the situation to a satisfactory outcome.

7. As a member you will have proven that you have reached a standard of excellence and will be able to supply any references; giving the couple peace of mind that their wedding day is in capable hands with people upon whom they can depend.

8. As a member you agree to add a link to The Wedding Professionals Network web site within 1 month of your application acceptance. Failure to do so will be deemed as a breach of Terms and Conditions.

9. The Wedding Professionals Network logo will be used as much as possible on your promotional literature.

10. As a member of the Wedding Professionals Network you are agreeing to help and support other members.

11. You agree to attend or send a company representative to as many networking meetings as possible and to have an active roll in the promotion of other members and the network.

12. No member will be given the right to be the only type of business in their industry. Each network will be region specific and have a maximum of 200 members per region. Members can join neighbour networks at a reduced rate.

13. Any food business must be registered with the local council as a food business.
